General Bedspread Sizing
As every bed has a different sized mattress it is difficult to manufacture a universal sized bedspread. If you would like the bedspread to perfectly touch the floor it is best to come prepared with the measurements from the floor to the top of your mattress as well as the width of the mattress, then we can determine what size bedspread you would need to achieve the desired look. Each manufacturer's measurement vary slightly, so it pays to check the measurements of the bedspread of interest.

Coverlets tend to range in size from 210 square to 260/240cm – it pays to look at the sizes of these and compare them to the bedspread size, as often you can use a coverlet on a single or king single bed to create a bedspread look. If the coverlet is 210cm square, and you would like to create a bedspread look on a single or king single bed you will need to use a valance as you will see the end of the bed (If you have a tailboard on your bed, you will not need a valance). On larger beds (Queen or King) coverlets are generally paired with a valance unless you have a slat bed.
